My first experience with Umā was a baptism of fire of sorts—19 women around the holy fire all night with Umā at the helm. She is strong and mature enough to let the magic unfold naturally and to let everyone feel comfortable to take up the space that they need, yet firm enough to hold the container and space. I learned a lot from her and her space and feel grateful to have sat in her presence.
